My appreciation for community and storytelling has led me to rewarding roles in social media, communications, and event management (aka cat herding). I’ve worked with film festivals, non-profits, agencies, and even a multi-sport games event, launching social media campaigns, producing medal ceremonies, juggling timelines and resources, and wrangling actors, toddlers, and athletes (not all at the same time).
I’m a creative at heart, but my real superpower is being meticulously organized. Because everything is better when it’s colour-coded. Structure and creativity go hand in hand, and my strengths in both make me stand out in any role I take on.
In 2014 I founded The MUFF Society, an online community and screening series that championed women and underrepresented groups in film/TV. And this one time I handed Daniel Radcliffe a Diet Coke and he said “thanks.”
PS - my name is pronounced “Sharn” (…it’s Welsh, if that helps you cope?)
